This collection of raised copper bowls displays Rebecca’s ongoing exploration of form, colour and the idea of ‘vessel.’
Having been taught the rudiments of raising at college, Rebecca has continued to discover more through practise and research. She finds the methodical and rhythmic hammering that this process requires relaxing and almost mediative. It becomes a conversation between metal, hammer and mind.
