Formerly known as ‘The Old Customs House Studio’ and the ‘Net Loft Gallery’ and run as two very different identities, new owners David and Heather Howe have renamed the gallery ‘The Customs House Gallery’ and given it a bright new contemporary feel throughout.
Situated on the harbour side at Porthleven, the gallery has three light spacious rooms and a pretty courtyard garden complete with its own stunning tree fern.
The gallery features inspiring work by both South West artists and others from throughout the UK resulting in a new refreshing collection of works including original paintings and prints, ceramics, glasswork, woodwork and jewellery.
A warm welcome awaits visitors all year round as Heather Howe has her own studio at the gallery and can be found painting there during quiet times. A complete picture framing service is also available from the gallery and if visitors find something that needs framing before they go home, every effort will be made to accommodate them.
